    something was wrong with scph- 5501 fixed now the emulator works but how do I get launchbox to use retroarch with other cores for better settings

    your advice did help and the game will start with psx (vanilla not hw) but all I get is a black screen

    yes I moved my games (and I scan the games folder in launchbox)

    I heard that retro arch can be really picky with games is that the problem

    do the bios need to be in the same folder as bin/cue files by any chance

    the emulator is "blind" to them so to speak

    or perhaps my bin and cue don't match (I admit that the files are downloaded because I have no Idea about how you turn games into roms and I don't feel like digging all my old games up)

    so the bin and cue files dont need to be paired in any way

    so retroarch cannot find my ps1 games, bios are in the sysem folder and the games are in in bin and cue format but retroach seem to be incapable of finding or booting them (they work with the epsxe fine) but I cant use epsxe due to the fact that it hates my controller

    bios files usually don't need too much hunting down but setup tutorials are always welcome I am in the process of moving my entire collection onto launch box (as opposed to my current ungodly mess of folders) but it has proved too be somewhat of a challenge but I think it will be worthwhile if I can put my entire collection in one place

    Thanks for the help retroarch looks amazing so I guess I will use that (less emulators to juggle)

    having a weird issue with epsxe where the inputs are acknowledged in the editor but wont work in game. my gamepad is a dual shock 4, the plugin is lilypad and operating system, is windows 10 (also I do have ds4 windows)
