I'm building the cabinet using a LattePanda Alpha 864s which runs windows and has a built in Arduino. what I was wanting to do is have a full cabinet experience for everything including the coin slot. I've ordered a coin slot from X-Arcade which is connected via Adurino to simulate keyboard presses. I'm trying to see if there is a way via plugin or another program to disable launching the games except maybe MAME Games as those already expect coins to be inserted unless a coin is put into the the coin slot which would put a credit in and enable launching games or if there is any API documents to disable and enable launching games and I could custom write a plugin.
Does any one know of a way or has anyone done anything similar with a coin slot?
