    Scratch that, seems i was using the SGB enhanced version.

    Yeah it adds color, but as i was saying, only 2 colors. But i guess i cant change it unless a download the game from gameboy color. Thanks everyone for the help

    i tried this, but it only adds one type of color for the whole game like, blue, red, orange... i want to take the actual colors as if i was playing the normal pokemon game in gameboy color. But i dont want to download a new one because a will lose all my save files
