Current Beta seems to have solved this for me.

I switched to WMP and it's still having the issue. And this is on a fresh install and fully updated Win10 install. It has even happened as I was scrolling between games in a playlist of only 4 games in it.

Is there any way to just have NES and SNES use USA Release Dates instead of Japan? I like to have my games organized by the year and month they came out in the States since I was alive and old enough to remember. When I see a game like Mario World saying 1990, it drives me up a wall. I was there in Summer of 1991 when the first demo kiosks of SNES started showing up and crowds of kids gathered. Magical time.
