Ok. Seems like I missed that. Like I said I only installed yesterday (obviously it was the worst time to install) and when I quickly searched the forums in my lunch break for "slow metadata" this was the first one that popped up. My bad.

I installed for the first time yesterday. I'm on a 100 mbit connection and I had to leave the computer on overnight to download metadata for ~200 Steam games. Seemed to be super slow.
