I tried mupen on the laptop and was not impressed by it which is why I went to pj64 with a very noticeable improvement on the 2 n64 ROMs I used but I will try again on the pc. Thanks for the help

hello all I'm new to emulators and launchbox and over the weekend I messed about and got things running on an older laptop with the help of a youtube video , then i tried to do the same on my gaming pc and I cant get it to work. everything goes ok loads launchbox then project 64 etc etc as I did on the laptop but when I try to play a game it tells me " cannot open rom as a plugin has not been successfully initialized ". I've tired different games deleting everything ( I thiink ) and starting over again but no luck. please help. Is there maybe something I'm not deleting properly and as such leaving a problem that just happens again when I do a new reload. clutching at straws here. thanks for any help
