[Windows 11 shutting down when launchbox is running]

Hi, Still having issues. Tried reinstalling dotnet framework, but no effect. Updated to version 12.7 but still the Windows 11 shutdown sporadically. My computer runs fine when Launchbox is not running (including games), but shut downs randomly when LB/BB are running. Very strange but I have tested it thouroughly before asking here.

Since I updated to Windows 11 from Window 10, the Windows shut down randomly when launchbox is running. 

This is the event log

The process C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\shutdown.exe (AMIR-DESKTOP) has initiated the shutdown of computer AMIR-DESKTOP on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found
 Reason Code: 0x800000ff
 Shutdown Type: shutdown

I have not encountered any shutdown unless Launchbox is running. I have monitored the system for several days and the shutdown only happens when Launchbox is running. I have reinstalled Launchbox but no effect.

Hi, After updating to version 10.14 the hi score option is completely vanished. Attached is the debug log for playing 1942. I have disconnected and reconnected to Launchbox database, but it has no effect. Please help!!

Hi Jason, Thanks for coming back. I have resolved the issue after downloading hiscore.dat file for mame220. For people who might be running mameui64, here it goes: There should be a folder named "hi" in the main installation directory, for example in my case H:\Games\Arcade Games\MAMEUI64\hi . You need to download the hiscore.dat file from https://highscore.mameworld.info/. You need to place your hiscore.dat in "hi" folder. Next step is to open mame.ini file and enable plugins, for example

Then you need to put this config below in the same mame.ini

plugins                   1
plugin                    hiscore
 

I hope it will resolve the issue for anyone having trouble uploading the high scores to launchbox database. Now I need to go and enjoy myself.

Hi Jason, My high scores are not uploading despite following your instructions and after updating to 10.13. Please have a look at the debug file and kindly let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Hi, Great theme. I have now got almost everything I needed to customize my setup. One annoying thing though, I want to remove game title and along with it the genre, players and rating in the game view, as highlighted in the attached image. Again applauds to your hard work and aesthetics in creating the theme.
