You Sir were bang on! It was one of my lightguns buttons being pressed whilst it was in its holster😁 Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

[Bigbox options menu]

Hi Everyone

I am having problems with Bigbox suddenly.

. My startup video only plays for a couple of seconds, then stops abruptly?

. When Bigbox starts I can see my games menu but after a few seconds it goes to the options menu?

. I use the Escape key to get to the Bigbox options menu. When in the Bigbox options menu I cannot navigate through the options until I press Escape again?

I have tried reinstalling Lunchbox/Bigbox but problems still persist.

[Duckstation blank screen]

Hi Everyone

Hope your all doing well

I have Duckstation installed for point blank 1,2 and 3 to use with my Sinden lightgun.

I also have a bezel pack for the Sinden border.

The games are launched via an AHK that opens Duckstation, the games and the bezels.

When I start the games via Launchbox everything works fine but when I start the games via Bigbox the bezel shows and I can here the game playing in the background but the part of the screen where the game plays is blank.

Anyone know how to fix this please

[Navigate Bigbox with Sinden Lightgun]

Hi Everyone

I have finished configuring launchbox for my lightgun cabinet but wonder how I can setup Bigbox to be controlled with my Sinden lightgun.

I can scroll through the games with the d-pad on the gun but cant start games, exit back to bigbox etc.

I cant get the gun to register button presses in the controller button assignment settings in bigbox?

Has anyone figured this out already?

cor094's suggestion worked for me. I hate to disagree nohero but for me until cor094's fix Crimzon Clover would not launch without admin rights. I would get an i/o error within launchbox/bigbox.

Crimzon clover gives me a i/o error if launched via launch box without admin rights for some reason but if launched via teknoparrot with admin it works OK. Its a strange one!

I'm using the latest teknoparrot and if I set it to admin rights but not launch box I get a message from launch box about needing elevated rights. The same is true of a few taito type x games I'm running through an older version of teknoparrot?

Hi guys

I have just started using teknoparrot to run Nesica games and Maro Kart arcade. Unfortunately Mario and some Nesica games require admin rights or they will not launch or run correctly.

I cannot run bigbox with admin rights as it will not startup automatically when windows starts and I believe it is not advised to launchbox/bigbox with admin rights.

Does anyone know of a work around?

I originally posted this in the troubleshooting section but it is probably better suited here!
I have just started using launchbox in my arcade cabinet so Im a noob I'm afraid!!!
I have the game Aliens Extermination. It was originally a PC/windows XP based arcade cabinet game and some clever people managed to get it working on modern home PC's.
It actually doesnt use an emulator so I have manually set it up and its working except the only way to exit is to press the windows key, right click on the program and close it.
The files I am running are a .bat file to start the Demulshooter lightgun program(which I have set to run before the game in the additional apps tab) and the Aliens.exe file.
Is there a way to setup the 'escape' key to exit the game?
I just need a way to exit out of the game once I am done.
