  1. Updated from 12.11 to latest 13.6, so not sure which version introduced it, but I went back to 12.11 and confirmes it didn't exist there. But, using BigBox with Unified Refried theme, when scrolling and land on a game, the boxart/flyer falls from the top. When it first starts to fall, it is the boxart of the previous game I had landed on. As it's falling, I can see it change to the newest game. Not a huge deal, but a little distracting . I refreshed all images, and nothing changes. My guess is maybe the newest version is faster at switching games and starting animations (or perhaps slower at switching box art), and therefore the boxart hasn't fully changed prior to falling animation. I'm thinking I can maybe edit the view xml to add a delay or something, but first wanted to see if anyone else has or solved this issue. Thanks.

You can always revert by running the previous installer over your current install. The install process doesn't touch your metadata or media so you're data is safe.

Out of curiosity what theme(s) are you seeing this behavior with?

Unified Refried. I don't think ithat theme has been updated for a while, so I'm always hesitant with updating.

  3. Since the update, occasionally if I select a platform/playlist to get into the game list, when I hit escape to back from game list to platform list the current selected platform video doesn't play, just black. Moving up or down platform gets it to show up again.  Is it possible to undo the update? Thanks!

  4. Any idea why after updating Launchbox, my games no longer show up in "all games" in certain  views with this theme? If I cycle through views, some do show my games, but when using my preferred view, they do not show up. It only shows one game (last game alphabetically). I tried reinstalling the theme with no luck

  5. Not sure if you're still having this issue, but for me it was caused by an emulator setting in Launchbox. I solved my issue by going to "manage emulators" in Launchbox and editing my Teknoparrot emulator setting. Then, I unchecked "attempt to hide console windows" or something like that and it worked. I can now open TP as administrator from a non-administrator BigBox

    Hi!

I got a question I got a little stuck on. I recently put some playlists to my Nintendo Entertainment System platform. I have autogenerated a playlist for genres, one for favorites, one for all games and one I added from the forum called Top 100 games. Now my problem is when I go bigbox, I can go to the NES platform and my platform video will play. I can then enter the NES platform to get my playlist and the video will still continue to play which is what I want. However, when I navigate to the Top 100 playlist, the platform video for nintendo restarts breaking up the continuous play of the platform video. See video for what I mean. The playlists generated from launchbox itself works, but when I play my downloaded playlist the video restarts. I've attached xml from playlist top 100 and one from genres if that is of any help. Do anybody know how I can get the platform to continuously play even when I select my own added playlists? Any help is appreciated :)

I am having the exact same issue, it's driving me nuts. Did you ever figure out a solution? Thanks. -Cory

  7. I know this is an old thread, but figured I would post my solution. This doesn't bring back the volume feature of Big Box, but it allows you to program keyboard buttons to adjust the volume of Windows. I downloaded CabVol as mentioned here:

Then, I used Task Scheduler in windows to create a task with the action of launching CabVol. I set the trigger to be at login of my specific windows user. It seems to be working for me.
