I figured it out. Apparently the sound issue was related to Retroarch. There is a function that if F9 is pressed audio can be muted or unmuted. This setting does not reset after rebooting the PC. After pressing F9 again the audio is now working.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place and if this is a dumb question. I am setting up Lunchbox in Windows version 13.25 First I added Mames and everything is working good including sound. I then added Commodore 64 and I thought sound was working. I then Added Amiga then Amiga CD32 I am only able to get sound output when using Mames. I am using Retroarch and UAE with Libretro, The Libretro suggested in a YouTube video by Retro Python - Unbroken Software specifically for the CD32 Console. I am not sure what I am missing. I am sure it's a simple setting. Thank you.

I finally got it working. I purchased a Sinden light gun. It was quite a bit of setup.

I received my first Sinden light gun. I installed their application, and I do see that the light gun is working like a mouse. I do see images on the screen in the Sinden app. I have been trying to find simple setup instructions to add it to Launchbox. I found a video from ETA prime but I feel like being 4 years old that it is outdated. I am using MAMES and I went to the input devices but it's not seeing the light gun. It does see a mouse and an X box controller. Is there is good tutorial out there? Thank you.

What is the best way to install Launchbox and move over all of the files and folders from another PC and setup on a new PC for it to look and act the same as the other PC? Do I want to download and install LB on the new PC and copy the entire LB folder and replace the new one created during the installation? I would install them in the same location as the old PC

Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this. I have been setting up my LB to be able to make it portable. I have figured out all of my issues besides one. I have a Sinden light gun ordered and after watching some videos on the top light gun games I am interested in playing Jurassic Park the lost world. I have the zipped folder in my complete merged rom set 0.270 and the zipped folders name is jplstw22. I manually imported the game after it did not show up in LB and unchecked all of the places that would prevent a particular type of game from importing. I now see the game in LB however when I try to run the game is does not work. I did verify the file name it is looking for matches the folder name I posted. I tried to use MAME outside of LB to open it and I do not know if it I did it correctly but it still will not work. Is this simply an issue with the rom file or something else. I have an older rom set from a year or so ago and it also does not work on another machine with LB installed. Thank you

I found another rom set and replaced it and it works without issues.

thank you I will try those things both of you suggested. I am not really a windows user. I only use it for Lunchbox. Is there a way to unzip every folder inside of a folder or would I need to manually do them? Skizzosjt are your SG roms in zip format or unzipped?

I have successfully been able to get MAME,NES,SNES,ATARI 2600 working on Lunchbox 13.7 I imported my Sega Genesis roms the same way by moving them into the Games/Sega genesis folder inside of Launchbox. Launchbox automatically found them and imported the artwork. When I try to start any SG game I get an error message that reads. "7-Zip returned an error when trying to extract the archive." I went to tools/emulators and it is set to use Retroarch. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Yes it works outside of Launchbox. For whatever reason I tried the other 2 games I moved the CHD files to play the games and they both work and start. Those games are CarnEvil and Area 51. I still have not been able to get Carnival King to get past this screen in the process of trying to play the game. As you can see I have entered plenty of coins. After I shoot and pop the 1 player ballon I move the crosshairs over the arrows to choose where to go. I shoot at it and I see the screen flash and it makes a sound but it does not start the game. please see photo. thank you and thank you for clarifying that Windows 11 24H2 works with this. Are you able to try this specific game and see if you can get it to start? I do have start set for keyboard 1 or the little gamepad button which starts my other games. I am also trying the key and button to get the game to start

I installed Lunchbox 13.7 on a genuine Windows 10 PC. I imported the .270 merged Romset and I copied the merged CHD file for Carnival king to the folder where the rom files were imported to. I assume I did this correctly? I copied the CHD folder not just the file inside of it and put it in the roms folder. I am still not able to get the game to start. Am I doing something wrong or is there possibly a bug in the software or files?
