I cleared data, uninstalled, unplugged external memory, reinstalled, plugged in external memory, then restarted Nvidia shield. Now app will launch and seems stable. I just need the option to select a source then will be ready to rock.

No, the apk requires root permission. I did try deleting that folder, no go.
