So I came across the munt mt32 emulator and it sounds great! Problem is though that it only suppports 9 channels, and some midi files I have go up to 16.
I don't suppose anyone happens to know how to extend the channels? Maybe somehow combine 2 instances of the munt to create 18 channels or something like that? Trying to google I came across a sysex file that someone made wherein it allowed you to combine 2 MT32 devices to get 18 channels, but that works only if you have the actual devices, I have no clue how to get it to work with munt, if possible at all.
