It was my monitor was set to 3440X1440 at 50Hz. i adjusted it down and it fixed the issue.

how do I move the arcade categories around my mame categories are mixed in console and hand held. see attached file

I do like the categories the Mame Full Set Rom Import option created. Is there a easy way to duplicate this

I have Mame .228. I have a split set and a non merged set.
I ran the Mame Full Set Rom Import Rom option on the Non Merged set.
But i have a few issues one is i want Budwieser Tapper not Root Beer Tapper. Also i want Burgertime non Decco version.
What the best way to import my mame games? Should i just load the mame Split version?
Also what version works the best with Sega Model 2 and naomi rom for othe remulators

i switched to DP cable and i hit 60hz. it the crappy HDMI cable i was using. Thanks for your help

I have everything set to standard no upscaling. The Monitor is a ultra wide its is connected via HDMI and it set to 50hz. I even ran Atari 2600 pacman and that sounded off.
I have desktop speakers plugged in for the Audio output

I am having sound issues in retroarch. i have my audio output set to wasapi. The audio sounds shuddered and a little static. if I select xaudio I get no sound.
example Mugen64-plus has a studder and static
I have the same issue in Mame64 .228 not in retroarch
SNES sounds fine which is not in retro Arch. emulator snes9x-1.60-win32-x64

I am having the same issues with Sega model 2 emulator.
d3dx9_42.dll is part of directx 9

In the MAME.ini file (if you don't have one, run "mame -cc" to create one), in the "OSD VIDEO OPTIONS" section, change the video line to:
video opengl
Then save the MAME.ini file.
this fixed it

this is the error i get when trying to launch mame64 in command line. unable to create the direct3d device?
PC has a GTX 1660 Super graphics card
PC has Direct x 12 installed

New to launchbox
I can not get Mame64 to launch. I get the loading spinning wheel mouse cursor for 10 sec then nothing. I am just trying to load it out of my Mame folder with the mame64.exe. not even launch box yet. I created a mame.ini file with mame64 -cc
I see Mame running in Task manager then it disappears from task manager when the loading spinning mouse cursor ends.
Mame64 .0228b
I ran HBmame228 that will open but will not launch a game. it just crashes

Anyone have a fix to make these work together. Looks like retroarch calls it Swanstation now and it does not work or can it be Used as stand alone. I get a Error when i try to install it. like a file is missing

i had a USB plugable display hooked to my laptop that was causing the issue. But still what set of mame Roms should i get.

Just getting back into Emulation. been out of it for 5 years. I have a probably 1.69 Mame rom set. i also downloaded a 202 rom and CHD sets. but when i try to run any rom in mameUI64 examples 1941, 1942, 1943 and digdug. The screen just locks up or goes black and nothing happens. i have to push esc to get out of it.
Not sure what i should do to get a full set of roms running.
