Hi thanks for the reply and help. My bad I typed the launchbox version wrong it must be 11.10 as I got it from launchbox website 2 days ago from their link. And I got mame from the link within launchbox and its version 0.23 which is the current release. I'll download the version from January this year and try that 0.228. Sorry if my original post wasn't clear

Good morning, I've tried several times to import a mame romset into launchbox. I've got launchbox 11.1 installed, mame 0.23, mame romset 0.228. Windows 10 is my OS. I've tried a couple of roms outside launchbox and they boot ok. I've added mame as an emulator in launchbox. I go through the process of importing a full romset all looks ok, all relevant tick boxes ticked. It pops up with a list it says it will import, I hit ok. It starts doing its thing blue progress bar moving constantly etc leave it for ages over night and not 1 game is there just an empty screen no matter what filter is selected. Completely confused ? Please help
