[Recommended Tools for creating/editing Snaps and Covers?]

Hello,

i'm looking for one or a few tools to create/edit snaps and covers. The graphic tools i used for now always increasing the data size of the image file drastically, when i save the changes.

what tools u are using to make 2D and 3D clamshell covers ?

How can i rename, convert or resize a bunch of image files in one step?

Maybe there is a tool, that combines all my likes in one application?
