I used to add FBNeo hack roms (non-mame) by Manual import without scraping data. Then just combine them with origin games.
However I found that no matter what settings I used, I couldn't import it.
I have checked "force importing duplicate games" and unchecked "force using mame metadata"
maybe due to LB preventing the import of content that does not belong to the database.
other hack rom but in mame database such as SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos Super Plus (svcsplus.zip) could be improted without problems.
Anyone has good suggestion to ADD non-mame hack roms?
