mupen seems to be working much better, thanks guys

It doesn't seem to matter which ROM I load first, but if I turn the computer on, the first one I load through Launchbox leaves me on a black screen, then any others I open work fine until I turn the computer back off. I just tested loading it straight into Project 64 without launchbox, same black screen issue. Project 64 advanced settings are on default from the fresh install I HATE using retroarch, I much prefer using standalone emulators, any way to run mupen64 as a standalone program? (side question, does mupen have aspect ratio correction for fullscreen mode? a lot of the other emulators I tried didn't)

Downloaded the latest dev build, unblocked it, installed it, still the exact same problem unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure it's project 64 crashing, it hangs around in the task manager even when I close the window the window refuses to alt+enter or alt+f4 out, too.

I don't think the problem is related to fullscreen mode either, as it just happened with windowed mode.

-I don't have the Dev3.0, program, I'm using the setup_project64_3.0.1-5664-2df3434.exe installer in portable mode -I tried reinstalling in a different folder, still behaving exactly the same -Project64.cfg isn't set to read only

the fullscreen option inside of project64 is enabled. I tried to disable it to test but it seems to re-enable on it's own. The other settings are identical to mine. edit: upon further inspection, any setting I try to change inside of project64 seems to undo itself when I apply and close the config menu...?

I am using Project 64 3.0 through launchbox. I just get a black screen on the first ROM I run. If I close Project 64 and re-launch it, I get a warning that says Project64.exe currently running Termintate PID 6604 now? if I say "No", the rom loads and works fine. Anything after that also works fine. edit: p64 works fine outside of launch box
