MAME will not open after changing emulator path

I figured it out. Apparently I had to change the the rom path in the new folder were mame.exe was as well. I thought I did though. Or maybe I just didn't click "save configuration" like I thought I did. 🤔 -
Hello! So after I changed my Mame application path, mame will not start up. It opens up for a quick second, saying "initializating" then quickly closes. If I switch back to its original app path it works just fine. I have also changed the ROM directory too without issue. If I open up MAME and try to load up a game it works just fine, even with the new rom directory. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you so much!
