[RetroArch and PCSX2 - low frame rate in LB]

Yeah, I've tried that as well.  Games run fine in PCSX2 and RetroArch standalone outside of Launchbox but 1fps while launching from within Launchbox in both emulators.

Yeah, I've run them in both pcsx2 standalone and the pcsx2 core in RetroArch outside of Launchbox and the games run fine.  Its only after I import the games into Launchbox and launching them from the game menu that they run at about 1fps.

I'm having the same problem with PS2 games using RetroArch.  Works fine when launched outside of LB but unplayable when launched from within.

Have you tried the Citra emulator?

I recently installed the PCSX2 core to retroarch and have tested several PS2 games outside of Launchbox.  Everything runs smooth as butter.  However, after importing the games into Launchbox, they are completely unplayable with excessively low framerate.  I'm using the same emulator and core but for some reason, they just wont work when I launch from Launchbox. All of the games are in CHD format.  I'm using an i5 cpu and a Ryzen R9 380 video card with 16gb ram.   Any ideas?

[Sound setup - Speakers & Headphones]

I am currently in the process of building my cabinet and have not yet started on researching launchbox/bigbox, but this is the application I intend to use for my pc arcade build.  I intend to use car audio speakers and an amp for the audio but I am considering adding headphone jacks for the front of the cabinet.  Does launchbox have any individual sound controls integrated into the software or is sound just regulated through the windows control panel?  i'm assuming that I'll need to plug the 3.5 mm output from the amp and the two headphones into a 3 way splitter and plug that into the soundcard audio out jack.  However, if I'm doing that, then I will need individual volume controls for both headphone jacks and the speaker output, correct?  Is there an easier way to do this?
