I scoured the settings in both LB and BB, because I'm not 100% certain at this point which LB settings have any effect on BB (I really wish BigBox was a completely separate app). In LB adjusted these: 1. Options/Visuals/Game Details/Show Videos 2. Options/General/Video Playback/Use VLC for video playback 3. Options/Media/Video Priorities In BB I adjusted these: 1. Options/Videos/checked all 3 boxes 1. Theme specific options/Videos/checked all 3 boxes Am I missing any video settings? I have the most recent .NET framework installed, am I missing some video codec?

Yes there is a VLC player that came with the LB install under the "Thirdparty" folder. I also tried a fresh LB install and unfortunately exact same issue. I'm running windows 11 on a Surface pro 8 (i7 16gb) so I wouldn't think the PC is the issue... Can you think of anything else I can try?

I am getting supremely frustrated with this, I can hear the audio, but video snaps do not show up in any theme in BigBox: 1. I do have a lifetime Launch Box (Big Box) license 2. I have a lifetime access to emumovies.com, and verified all video snaps are downloaded, and located in the launchbox videos folder (divided into each corresponding console folder) 3. I have "show videos" checked in tools/options/visuals/game details 4. I have "Use VLC for video playback" checked in Tools/options/general/video playback" AND have newest version of VLC installed 5. I have all items check marked under "options" and "theme specific options" inside Big Box Using Launchbox 12.9, Theme is COLORFUL - Light As you can see from the screen cap in Big Box, there is nothing playing in the background in The Addams Family for Game Boy, but the edit metadata screen for that games clearly shows that the video sources are located where they are supposed to be.
