I had retroarch first and played a game with it.
Then I got Launch box and installed it and had it automatically connect to retroarch.
The save file is still in the same save folder for retroarch but when launching the game through launch box the save file isn't there.
I went to the settings of the rom after importing the rom to launch box but it seems it's creating a save file in another location and I don't know where.
I even reopened the retroarch to see if it still had and was working with the original save file and it is.
I checked that the launchbox is being directed to retroarch to launch the same rom and didn't let it move or copy the rom to any other location.
My only guess at this point is that it's using a different core to launch the game and isn't recognizing the original save file.
