  1. Hey Guys

Just wanna say that LaunchBox is the best gaming experience ever. Yeah had problems with it in the past but after trying EVERY single frontend system that's suppositly is to turn your computer into a gaming console, LaunchBox wins hands down. I've learned alot in the couple months I been away. Like reading Readit posts to make BigBox work better.

    Now here's my question

I have this theme Neon Deluxe Arcade installed as my current theme. Looks great, but the problem is that my system is running it too slow and it has lag when going through my systems and collections. Can someone tell me how to make the theme work like normal? No lag No slowdown

  2. Hello Gamers

I'm trying to import Phillips CDI games into LaunchBox but I'm having mad trouble doing so. I followed the tutorial about importing into launchbox using retroarch but when I made the .iso file, Retroarch didn't read it and I got a fatal error, and it scrolls to fast to see what it says, I'm the legally blind gamer and I'm doing the best I can with this, please help me someone? Just trying to make my build more better, you know :)

  3. Well how about if I change the theme? I think that one of the custom themes that are downloadedable from here the font is bigger, I'm going to do some looking around until I find the theme that I saw, it was like when you go into it, it has the game console picture of the controllers. I think it was called RetroTastic or something like that, it's here, I'm going to find it. If you find it before me, tell me ok?

  4. Hello

I'm a legally blind gamer. Is there anyway I can make the print bigger in BigBox? For example the menu that has all the choices such as Manage Themes, Options, controller mapping etc. You know how when BigBox loads up, then you see the platforms, then when you press the B button on xbox or circle on the playstation controller you then see the menu. The prints really tiny and I have to get close to my TV to read it, I'm so close I can kiss my TV screen lol can someone help me out with this? Any suggestions? All help is appreciated.

  5. Hey Guys

I have a bit of a problem. First off thank you guys for making LaunchBox the #1 hookup to play games in style on a nice big 50 inch TV. Well, here's my question. I'm trying to save games when I'm playing MAME. Can someone please help me to be able to do save states on my games. MAME or RetroArch is working so I can save game progress in MAME games. Can someone help me out please?

  6. Everytime I run a game in the cemu emulator in LaunchBox I keep getting the same error that the game can't load because of the dam encryption keys error message saying that I have to open the keys.txt file and add the key. I did that, and everytime I get an error maybe because it's .wux & .wud files and not the loadine types. Loadine is the files and folders with an .rpx file which is the executable for the nintendo wii u file structure. If I can't get it to work, I'll just have to go on Ziperto and get the loadine file and folder structure. What should I do? Does anyone have any keys.txt file that they can share with me or tell me where to get one so that I can make the cemu emulator load my wii u games.

  7. Hello

I'm not sure if this is in the right place or not but many of you use LaunchBox for your steam games so I figured this might help. I"m in school for game design & development doing art as well and I'm trying to get really into it so I found out that they've released a new add-on for Kodi version 20 Nexus which didn't work with anything but now it works with LaunchBox and now Steam to. My friend put together a nice tutorial on YouTube on how to make your PC into a gaming console so I'll add that link to this post to. But here's the new link to the Steam add-On for Kodi version 20 Nexus.

NOTE - You Must create a GitHub account in order to download the add-on

    teeedubb-xbmc-repo-old/script.steam.launcher-3.7.0.zip at master · teeedubb/teeedubb-xbmc-repo-old (github.com)

Here's the video to my friends YouTube tutorial on how to make your computer into a game console

  8. Hey guys

I been using LaunchBox for years about 6 to be exact, and I love it. With Launchbox I've made my childhood dream a reality by building a game console that plays literally everything. Just going to be brief here, if you have any questions on how I did everything, just let me know in the comments below. So to turn your computer into a game console, you just need these things

    Computer - Desktop or Laptop

LaunchBox preferrably BigBox - To store all your games

LaunchBox For Kodi Plugin - Look for it on this site in the downloads section or go onto google and type in

LaunchBox for kodi addon - LaunchBox Forums

and it will show up in the search results. Login to your LaunchBox account and download the plugin/addon

Kodi - Which is a media center so you can watch all types of media or listen to music

Launcher4Kodi - This will make it so that your computer will boot directly into Kodi bypassing Windows altogether. Which frees up your processor, ram, & graphics to be used by Kodi & BigBox which means everything will load way faster because windows isn't on, killing all your resources such as processor, ram and graphics.

Now the end result is kodi is the main thing you'll see when your computer starts after setting up Launcher4Kodi program. Kodi can be used with just a controller of your choosing. Now with the LaunchBox plugin/addon installed into kodi, press the A button on your xbox controller or X button on Playstation controller, and you'll go directly into your BigBox setup. Play your games have your fun, now when you're done, just press B to go all the way back to your platforms select screen, then press B to go back to the BigBox menu. Then press down on left thumbstick or D-pad and go to Close. Press A on xbox controller or X on Playstation controller to exit your BigBox setup, and now you're back at Kodi.  You can press the right thumbstick down on xbox or R3 on playstation controller to bring up the kodi menu. If you go to exit, kodi will close and windows will load to your desktop for desktop mode. If you choose another option on the kodi menu like say Restart, your computer will restart and it would go right back into Kodi. Just like an xbox or Playstation would go back into it's normal dashboard interface. Yay now you have a game console.

I won't go into specific details on how to set everything up, this is more a less a post to help our family of LaunchBox lovers & the New people joining our family, welcome. LaunchBox has made it possible to turn simple computers into gaming consoles which is amazing. Message me in the comments if you would like to learn how to setup your own gaming console for your computer. Thanks for reading.

  9. Hey guysim sure you know me from that awesome assist to Ground7's startup theme for booting screen videos well I love launch box for 5 years now but I've had an Xbox one & PS4 before getting & staying in PC gaming. One question as my blind ass tried to read the little print in y'all bigbox themes, why is there no bigbox themes for the legally blind gamer, vision Impaired Gamers like myself & thousands of others in this world. More people would join our family if we can just come up with as I call it Blind Friendly bigbox themes.

Magnification & screen reading. If we can't change the theme then in the options menu add a section called Accessibility, and in that section we can add magnification so myself & other people don't have to make love kissing our TV screens cuz we gotta get close to see what it says. And a screen reader for those with dyslexia & other learning disability.

I had a petition pass and Microsoft Xbox & PS4 & 5 have Accessibility so I'm tryin to get something goin here to. Who's with me? Make gaming available to everyone.

  10. Platform Boot Videos Theme 1.0.0 Revised...Added More Videos

    View File

    Hello To All

So I was looking on the forums download section and found Platform Theme Load Videos, I though no way, that sounds cool. So I go into my BigBox and try it out, and it worked. I know I'm tired of looking at the same boring load screen with no feeling, so what do we have here I thought to myself as I'm watching the boot/loading sequences of my favorite systems. It looks really nice so me being the IT Tech genius I am, I decided to add to this guys works. Big thanks to the man right here ground7  for making me inspired to add to his work. The files that I have are add-ons to what the original creator put up. Just figured that since I been using launchbox on my gaming console PC, figured that I would help you guys out since you guys have made my gaming console PC better and better every new release of launchbox or new themes. God bless!

  11. Hey GuysAs smart as I am, I cannot figure out how to change this theme clear logos. I'm an IT tech & modder that's legally blind I don't let my vision dictate my life. Well can someone help me? I have a few custom logos for custom platforms I made called Xbox Game Pass & Cloud Gaming.

Can someone help me to change the logos from default to the logos I have made?
