Update: So, I finally found the solution! Steam was hijacking my controller. I turned off controller configuration in Steam settings and my ps4 controller now works while playing games in LaunchBox.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using RetroArch that was installed when I imported my games. I have my controller configured to port 1 in RetroArch and everything seems to be fine until I start a game in Launchbox. When I load into a game a pop-up says' "configuration override loaded" and another that says, "dualshock 4 controller configured to port 1." Not sure what to do at this point.

I'm having difficulty using my ps4 controller to play games in LaunchBox. I can scroll the menus and select games with no issues using my ps4 controller but when I load into the games, it only allows me to move with directional pad and the remaining buttons on the controller have no actions. I thought purchasing the premium version of LaunchBox would fix this but it hasn't. I've watched countless videos and scrolled through the options dozens of times and still no success. If anyone has had success using a ps4 controller, please point me in the right direction. Thanks
