I'm still getting this error on a regular basis. Anybody have any idea what could cause it? Or how to find out what's causing it? Thanks.

I know this is old. But this is the one and only thread I found when I had this same problem. This issue is caused by improper or problematic uninstallation of steam games either from within steam or in the file explorer (not launchbox). This leaves the registry keys there which should have been deleted. If you open registry editor and go to: hkey_current_user>software>valve>steam>apps you'll find a bunch of folders with numbers. Some of these folders contain a file letting you know what game it refers to. Most don't. The only way to find out is to go into the steam store in a web browser and search for your game. The last string of numbers in the url coincide with the regedit folder numbers. You can do this the other way too by replacing the numbers with numbers you have in regedit. Once you've found the right one you can delete that regedit number folder. Hope this helps.

I ended up finding a tool that makes Cemu run in a borderless window (called "Borderless Gaming"). Still getting the error though. It's strange. It doesn't happen everytime. Almost always on extended play times. But occasionally even after short play times. The only way to get rid of the error is to Ctrl+alt+del and end the Big Box process.

Good morning. I just got the error again. First time playing since I did the scan. Maybe I'll check over at the Cemu discord for a way to run in borderless window. The tool I thought would work isn't automate-able.

Awesome thanks! I tried it and some corrupt files were repaired. Hopefully that does it. If not there is a plugin or tool or something I can try that can make cemu full screen windowed. Not an option in Cemu for some reason. Thanks again!

Thanks for the reply. I'm typing "/sfc scannow" and get the message "/sfc is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Do I have to be in a certain folder? In the mangrove I'll check Cemu fullscreen settings now. Cheers!

Been getting this error in the background of CEMU opened through BigBox. When I click it, another one pops up in its place. I have checked and my drivers are up to date.
