  1. I figured out a work around for this. I'd been accessing the NAS through the network, but once I mapped it as a drive to my computer the games started showing up as installed.
  2. My husband and I recent set a bunch of our Steam games as installed on our NAS rather than having them locally installed to 3+ local PC's. However, none of the games installed to the NAS are reading as installed on Launchbox. I tried searching for how to fix this, and the only suggestion I could find was having the NAS set as an install drive in Steam, and LB would fix itself. This was how we installed the games in the first place, so that clearly makes no difference. Can anyone tell me how to make this work?
  3. That seems to have fixed it. Importantly, I couldn't combine them where the EA Play version was the root then change the default internally, despite that being an option. It still reverted back to the regular .exe rather than keeping the alternate one. Combining the other game into it seems to be working, though.
  4. You mean manually add it to my game list import? It's possible I just added it to the additional apps section rather than importing as a game itself, I don't remember for sure since I only recently started playing it again despite having installed it when I got this computer last year. I'll give that a go, thank you for the prompt reply.
  5. Not sure if this problem is unique to the Sims 2 or not, but I use a special injection launcher for it (SimsRPC). Since it fixes one of the largest bugs built into the game, as well as having some other QoL features, I run the game exclusively from this alternate launcher. However, every time I close then reload Launchbox, whether I played the game or not, the Launching .exe is reset to the default rather than remaining on the one I've assigned (repeatedly at this point) to be treated as default. I ensured I added custom metadata information to the RPC additional app option, then assigned it as default, which the information is all retained as default but the .exe is not. I've tried unlinking The Sims 2 (Ultimate Collection, specifically) from the metadata database. I even logged out of EA and told my Launchbox to never autoscan for that storefront, to ensure the store scan wasn't what was overwriting the entry. Is there some way to make it stop changing my custom launcher out?
  6. I found this because I was having the same issue, and followed the steps to fix my Launchbox from crashing. I did investigate a little further, too. I opened up my Manage Storefronts once I got the app to work, and from there started logging in any that had been logged out (I generally need to relog into Epic once a day and EA about once a month, which was today). Since I was also logged out of Xbox/Microsoft, I clicked it's button, too. This made it throw the error and crash again. So, the login to the storefront is probably a good place to start when the devs start looking for solutions. :)
