It's happened to me twice already, first with retoarch, then with mame. By moving the emulator to the desktop, I noticed that the audio worked again. I solved the problem by changing the emulator's name and reassigning the path to Launchbox! This has been happening to me since October, so I think it's something in the latest program updates.

If you still encounter the problem, I solved it by changing the name of the folder and restoring the new path on Launchbox.
