Can someone point me to a guide to lock the settings for Launchbox, Retroarch, and other emu's? I don't want kid's clicking to change anything. Also, I don't want the controller autoconfig in Retroarch to change anything. Man, that's so frustrating because I have 2 sticks for arcade and controllers for consoles. I'm making a big effort to make sure it works perfectly, so quick overwriting my settings RA 😅

Interesting idea, that looks really simple. I'd totally do that but I worry that my kids (or kids' friends) will flip the switch and shut off the machine too easily. I've had issues with LB settings getting corrupted by improper shutdown, so I didn't want to trust that shutdown process to keep the machine stable for long. The nice thing about the power button is that I can tell windows to do nothing if it's pressed accidentally. I do appreciate the help though, so thanks and I think that switch would be a great solution otherwise. I'm having a really hard time making a cab that's kid-proof 😅. Even the power button is a tricky process and I think I'll have to ask around for a soldering help.

Hi, I'm glad there is a noob section for this question! I had my cab set up to show "Logo" for arcade games and box art for consoles. My 7 yr old somehow hit buttons in Big Box mode and now it's only showing box art (which looks terrible for arcade games!). I tried changing the default image in desktop mode and going back to Big Box, but it doesn't make a difference. no matter which image I select in desktop mode, the arcade games don't change in Big Box mode. appreciate any help!
