So I have set up Altirra as my emulator for the atari 800. Everything works fine with launchbox but when I start a game via Bigbox the emulator launches and I can hear sound from the running game but I just get a blank screen...anyone have any idea what the problem could be ? Many thanks

Hi, I have just spent the last couple of mnths doing a full new update and install of all my emulators and game roms. All this was done on a pc monitor with no sound device connected to it. When I finally had things as I wanted I connected my PC to its home place via my LG G5 t.v. The probelm I am now getting is that anything using retroarch and M.A.M.E (downloaded and configured via Launchbox) is giving me serious sound and video stuttering. This does NOT happen when using emulators dependent of retroarch,, i.e xmeu for XBOX 'redream' for sega dreamcast or'xenia' for 360. I have also connected it back to my PC monitor and used a pair of bluetooth headphones and everything works fine. This I guess must be a retroarch issue but I have tried to find the source of the problem but have been unable. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.. Thank you

Hi I am trying to add my atari 800 games launchbox using Altirri as the emulator. LB keeps saying I need to add a command line and won't go let me ignore this . I have Altirri working standalone . Any help on what command line parameters I need to enter?

Thanks just figured out you have to select save as 'all files' to be able to save as a .bat extension..

I am trying to get daphnie running via launchbox and have been following youtube videos, but I can not create a .batfile. There is no option within notepad to save as a .bat file... Am I doing something wrong?

Good morning all.. I am trying to get daphnie working with my sega Saturn retro bit controller and was wondering if I use a joypad mapper would it mess-up my settings that I have setup in retroarch? This controller was a pain in the but configuring and took my some time to get how I want in.. many thanks

hi upon checking command line parameters there was a descrepency which i changed and this works fine now. Thank you. But now I have another problem that when I exit out of a game within BIGBOX and try to exit back to game selection BIGBOX just hangs..

Ps just as a side note all the path files for all of my emulators and roms are exactly the same in my new install of LaunchBox as my original lauchbox install

Hi thanks for your reply. I'm using the same mame roms and mame fronted but it was added as a complete new system into a new install (not updated) lunchbox. There is no default command line parameter, when i choose edit emulator..

Hi I've been using launchbox/bigbox for around 8 yrs now and last week decided to update to the latest version, which meant paying for the update. I decided to do a complete new install and clean a few things up. The problem is that now none of my mame games will load. I added the roms like I did with my consoles as an individual rom list as I can not remember my mame rom.set . I set it to use mame as the emulator and pointed it to my mame exe. All my roms and subsequent art work added just fine but no games will load. I've also added my Sega genesis and 32x plus she's roms and they all play fine using retroarch. Luckily I kept a backup of my original laucjbox install and everything still works fine..all the path files for my roms and emulators are in the same place. Nothing has changed apart from the new install of lunchbox. Can anyone help me to get this sorted?? Many thanks. Ps I can choose to laugh mame via the game window and mame starts up just fine..
