A thousand thank yous!! I had looked everywhere, but never thought to look for automatic snapshot in Retroarch, as I'd sometimes be prompted that there were 7 screenshots after only being in the game for less than a minute. I hope this is truly it and will update this as solved, once I have a chance to confirm that I'm no longer getting these 🤓

Figured it out, it needed to go into the Platform Categories folder instead
