  1. I just solved this problem myself, so I thought I'd post the solution here for future searchers. I can't speak for Dolphin, but for PCSX2, the key was getting rid of the flash of windows when the emulator started. That means two things: 1) In LaunchBox, make sure you've got "--fullscreen --nogui" in your emulator command line options box 2) In PCSX2, uncheck the "Show Console" checkbox in the Misc menu So when opening a game via LaunchBox, if you see a flash of the PCSX interface (console or main window or whatever), that means B is going to exit the game. If you see only black screen between LaunchBox and the game you launched, you should be good to go. That's been my experience, and hopefully it works for you. I have seen a bunch of posts claiming that Steam sees the XBox controller as a mouse, so my un-educated theory goes something like the presence of the Windows interface on the screen makes Steam thinks it needs a mouse rather than just a gamepad, which causes unneeded drama. And I've also seen a bunch of posts claiming the solution to this issue is to edit your PCSX_keys.ini file to change "Sys_Suspend = ESC" to something else. In my experience, this does nothing to affect the problem. I've deleted the PCSX_keys.ini file entirely and it still works fine for me (with the two changes above).
