  1. Thanks I thought someone who used on of these devices would know. But your right ill ask the guys that sell them. Happy gaming?
  2. I still have one outstanding question If I hold the button closed will the input repeat
  3. Thanks Progets. I downloaded the software to program the I-PAC there is a tab (I cant open because no board is connected) that is labled Macros. I think that you can program the I-PAC to send compinations of key strokes here. I have wired switches to all the windows and doors in the house as well as speakers throughout (did this when I built) I have it wired back to the basement where i have a computer. I use a program that lets me assign wav files to a push of a button. I have taken a keyboard apart and wired it to all the switches on the windows and doors. When I open a living room window (this window is assigned to key K) the computer will play a wav file that says the living room window is open and so on for every window and door switch in the house. Im having trouble sometimes with the computer program im really suppose to assign 2 or more key presses to a wav file and to clean up the way i have wired the key board I thought I would purchase the I-PAC. This will not work though if it I-PAC keeps sending key strokes over and over until the window is closed. Thanks Rick
  4. thanks for the info althought im not sure how that relates to my question Rick
  5. Going to buy on of these just need a little info on how they work Let's take one input I assume all inputs work the same Ill hook a switch up to one of the inputs can I program it to type a combination of letters like abc or abcd. Also what happens if I leave the switch closed will it keep re-typing my letters or will it wait until the button is released and pressed again. Reason I'm asking is the button will be pressed or closed for hours at a time. Thanks Rick
