  1. I was having the exact same issues. I did some research and found out this error and file deletion was being caused by Malwarebytes ransomware protection. It has been an issue with many programs during the update process. If you have Malwarebyte Premium, just right click on the Malwarebyte icon in the system tray and turn off ransomeware protection temporarily. Hope this helps you.

  2. I was having the same issue as dbalcar. Retroarch would crash as soon as trying to load the core then start the core. I tried using Retroarch 1.7.3 stable and nightly. I found a post on the Libretro forum addressing this issue. The work around, which worked for me, is to create a dummy file and name it cannonball.game. Put this file in the retroarch\system\cannonball directory along with your unzipped outrun.zip files . Now open Retroarch, load the cannonball core, the choose load content. Now choose the cannonball.game file as your rom file. The game starts right up as expected. You can import the cannonball.game file into launchbox using the cannonball core. I hope this helps.

  3. I created a subfolder in my rom folder named gtfore06. Inside that folder is my golf_fore_complete_v6.00.01.chd and a zip file named gtfore06.zip. The gtfore06.zip just contains the .chd inside. I left the bios file "iteagle.zip" inside the rom directory. I use MAMEUIFX as my MAME emulator.

Take a look at this old forum post. Spycat gives a good reply. This is what nI used to get it working.
