  1. So, every time I start up Launchbox, it takes awhile to load and there's this kind of annoying loading window that I can't even seem to minimize. Is there some way to permanently hide or minimize that box? I briefly looked through the settings and couldn't find anything. I thought I'd ask here. Thanks in advance for any help!
  2. Is Steam import broken again in the newest version? I was trying to import a new game and it seems to not be working again.
  3. Ah, I see. Thank you for the quick reply.
  4. So, all of the sudden, I'm unable to automatically import Steam games into Launchbox. I've imported tons of games in the past via the Steam Import Wizard, but now it just sits on the "Please wait while parsing your Steam account" screen forever. Does anyone have any idea why this would suddenly start happening? It worked before, but just sort of stopped recently. I'd like to add a few new games I've collected.
  5. I get the same problem after erasing command line parameters; emulator opens up but doesn't load a game.
  6. Hi! I haven't used Launchbox for N64 emulation for quite awhile and today I just tried it and something seems to be broken in my setup. As far as I can tell, I haven't changed anything since it worked before. When I double click to load an N64 game via Launchbox, it opens the emulator, but doesn't load a game. When loading a game through the emulator directly, it works just fine. Here's my info: Using mupen64plus with command lines "-nogui -fullscreen -g" I'm sure I got those lines either here or on reddit and it worked fairly flawlessly with them beforehand. I haven't updated the emulator in any way. I was using .n64 file type roms before but am now using .z64 file type. It doesn't seem to make any difference if I use one or the other. Any help would be appreciated! If there's some info that would be needed that I didn't put in this post, I can try to answer questions.
  7. Sorry for the title-gore there. In the last couple months, I've started using Launchbox as an all encompassing game platform for my PC. Emulated games, of course, but also Steam (via the automated Steam import feature), DRM-Free PC games, and non-Steam DRM platforms. It generally works well with manual set up. Now, here's where I'd like a little advice. With the automatic Steam import feature in Launchbox, you can add games that aren't currently on your system and it'll go to download them FROM Steam when you double click the game in Launchbox. It's nice, because you can have tons of Steam games available via Launchbox, without taking up the hard drive space. Can you think of a way to directly link to the profile for each game via GOG Galaxy, Uplay, and/or Origin to do the same? Currently, I just manually add the games via the Add feature and then point them to the exe for Gog Galaxy, Uplay, or Origin, so it'll open up the program. I'd rather directly link to the games. I think what I'm trying to do makes sense. I'm just not sure how to go about it. I'd appreciate any pointers! My collection of PC games has been slowly growing larger and larger and I think Launchbox is a great resource to try to make sense of them all!
  8. Oh! I didn't realize that was known around these parts already. I'm a Launchbox user, but not active here on the forum. Like I said, this was just the top result in my Google search, trying to figure it all out. I just tried, and actually --fullscreen seems to work with Higan 1.03 as well.
  9. I was Googling for a way to automatically open Higan in full screen through Launchbox and this was the top result. In case anyone else ever finds this and wants to open Higan in full screen without using Retroarch, there's a video with a tutorial and hotkey script here. That worked like a charm for me. That w
  10. After Googling, this seems to be the most recent post about this. I'm just chiming in to ask if there's been any headway on this? My platforms are kind of...jumbled and I'd really like to manually sort them, sort by number of games, platform release year, etc.
  11. I love local multiplayer PC games! Towerfall (and the expansion Towerfall: Ascension) is a ridiculously fun 2D fighter with an emphasis on shooting each other with arrows. Great fun with 2-4 players, plus it includes a coop mode. Guacamelee and Niddhog are two more side scrollers that I really enjoy with friends. Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed is a Mario Kart-escue racer available on Steam. I'm not sure I'd say it's *as good as* Mario Kart, but it's certainly a lot of fun if you're looking for that kind of experience with a PC and you don't have any spare Nintendo consoles around. Are there any good local multiplayer FPS's available on PC?
  12. I also got premium Black Friday. I'd never even heard of Launchbox before! I agree that a feature list would be helpful. Also, is there a text based alternative to the YouTube tutorial guides? I know the internet loves videos, but I vastly prefer written guides when setting things up.
