Whenever I setup a startup video for bigbox it just waits, doesn't play the video then loads up like normal without playing the video. Any suggestions?

I renamed it startup.mp4 and put it in the correct folder but nothing seems to be starting up...... vlc works fine to play regular movies once im in bigbox. I'm tearing my hair out.... Any suggestiuons?
