thank you so much for your help !!! this is all new to me, I watched many videos and tried to read anything I could to find an answer I was trying to solve this in Mame but if this works that's great !!!! Thank you again !!!

I am trying to set my arcade cabinet up so I only use the joystick and arcade buttons I have everything else working great I can highlight any game but I can't figure out how to start the highlighted game using only arcade buttons I don't want to use a keyboard I'm trying to make it like a true arcade cabinet

I built an upright arcade and installed mame64 with launchbox for a front end I am using I-pac 2 & windows 7 everything seems to be great execpt one thing.....using only arcade controls (joy stick & arcade buttons) when using launchbox I can scroll threw my games.... I can highlite the game I want but I can't map a button to start the game once highlighted..........what am I doing wrong ????
