Oh dear god do i feel stupid, In my PCSX2 setting i had it set to plugin not ISO. Everything is working perfectly now, thanks for your help.

Hi, I've been using launchbox for a while now and always had this problem, whenever i try to start a ps2 game from launchbox it opens pcsx2 but also a load dialog to select an ISO. This was never a big enough problem for me to fix as i'd be sitting at my PC but now i use BigBox through Steam Link to play my emulators and it's a pain to have to go to PC to select the ISO. I've searched a fair bit and cannot find anyone who has this issue so im stumped on how to fix it. I read that i could disable the DVD rom as that was only needed if you had actual DVDs but when i change that to the null plugin it just boots into the PS2 operating system no game. I would appreciate any help, even if it is just in the form of superior google-fu.
