Now I will try the dream cast ones, they are all zipped too. That one gave me issues too. thanks for the help guys.

I got it to work by extracting the zip files. That was weird.

no, multiple. I even tried one game just to see what happens and it still game me that error.

Hey everyone, I tried to do a search before I posted this but I couldn't find my issue. I was able to import the set of MAME roms fine and I can play them. Next I tried to import the same way the mame roms were done but every time I try to import a set of roms I get this error for both for dreamcast and SNES.
