[Import Merged MAME Roms to List All Clones in "Additional Apps"]

Thanks for the info.

I like using the merged sets better.  I guess that I will just add the additional apps manually or by editing the xml file.

One other question though.  Is there a way to get all the bezels for the Additional Apps to download when updating the Metadata and Media?

Hello,

What I am trying to do is import only a few games using the Merged files from a ROM Set.  I don't want to import all the games in the set, so I am not using the "Import MAME Arcade Full Set".

But I would like all the clones to show up in the "Additional Apps" listing so that I can choose which one I want to play.

Is there a way to import them to accomplish this, or do I need to add all the clones manually?

Safe.............Shmafe.  Where is the fun in that.  😄

Since it is just a random GUID I ended up using    "1..n |  % { [System.Guid]::NewGuid() }"     in my powershell script and it worked great.

This might sound like a weird question, but is there a format to edit the XML file for a platform ( say Arcade.xml ) so that I can add games in bulk using a Powershell script?

I think I have the format figured out, but I seem to be getting hung up on the <ID> number or something.

[Windows in Launchbox Going Blank]

I checked for that service and it was there.

I disabled it and rebooted. 

That fixed the problem.  Tried my best to see if there was any additional issues, but that fixed it all.

[Windows in Launchbox Going Blank]

I just bought a new Alienware laptop that came with Windows 11.  It has an nVidia GeForce RTX 3080, Intel i9, 64 GB DDR4.

When I am running Launchbox the Edit Metadata/Media window will go blank and not refresh without closing or navigating in the window as show in the screenshot.

Has anyone seen this before?
