Double select sound bug + bonus issue

Hallo, I have some issues with BigBox.

When I'm during a select commend (enter) in BigBox then very often, like 50% of the time, the select sound will play two times in succession. It's seems like BigBox stutters for a moment and then plays the sound again or something. The interval between the double select sound varies. Sometimes, they one play one after the other. Other times they almost play at the same time. I've checked my physical inputs and there's no actual double clicking going on. It also happens with different devices. I'm using pretty much standard settings with the CityHunter theme, but I've also tried turning it off with no result.

Another issue I have is that the built-in controller support seems awful, just like in Hyperspin awful, that is, sometimes your inputs are ignored where as using the keyboard is always responsive. I think the issue is that when using a controller and flipping through games, the controller inputs will be ignored if BigBig cannot imediately respon because of loading data. Where as with the keyboard, its commands is saved and then process when BigBig is ready. So I pretty much have to use JoyToKey to issue keyboard commands with my controller to fix it. Btw, related to the first issue, I've also tried shutting JoyToKey down with no result.

Specs: GTX 670, 6GB ram, ddr3 1600, quad core I5 3.3GHz, LaunchBox latest non-beta

Edit:

It seems the double select sound is an issue with using platform catagories. Like, switching from catagories to platfroms in BigBox causes the sound issue. However, switching from a platfrom to the game list seem not to cause the issue.

Edit2:

I also noticed that using the 'Back' button in menu, always causes the sound glitch to happen, 100% of the time. Here BigBox plays the select sound two times very fast, so it's almost mixed into a single sound. Edit: Actually, this is a another sound bug that's not directly related to the first one.

Since I haven't gotten any respons yet, I thought I'll make a short video that clearly shows the issue. Just watch and listen to the double select-sound, which shouldn't happen, since I'm only clicking one time. Notice it happens when page haven't loaded 100% and press Enter. That *seems* to be the 100% repeatable thing about it. Anyway, nobody should have to wait between navigating the interface.

I'll also report this to the bug tracker now.

I have this same issue; is anyone aware of a fix?

To clarify, this is the "Select Sound" that plays twice when switching from a Category to a Platform. It sounds like BigBox is stuttering, which gives a bad impression, but it's literally playing the Select sound twice--no stutter. Changing sound packs doesn't help. Disabling the "Select Sound" removes the noise entirely, but I still want it to play once when I select. Just not twice.
