I created a shortcut to Big Box in Steam which I access through Big Picture Mode.

I use a PS4 controller and I can't seem to get Steam's controller layout to play nice with Big Box. I can navigate using the d-pad, but no other buttons work.

Is this a known bug? Am I doing something wrong?
