firepowr Posted August 17, 2018 Share Posted August 17, 2018 I've been a long time lurker who finally took the plunge and got the paid version of Launchbox. I was wondering if someone can help me out with an issue I'm having with The Secret of Monkey Island Ultimate Talkie Edition. I'm running the scummvm core with retroarch and the game runs fine, but I'm having a hard time enabling the text/subtitle of game. The ReadMe doc says to press Ctrl - q to enable subtitles, but that doesn't seem to work. I'm assuming it's meant the game running in Dos/Dosbox. So I thought I'd share. whether you're using Scummvm directly or a Retroarch core you can enable both the voice and text through the game setting (via edit option). Go to the Audio tab, check the override global setting and set the text and speech to use both. That was it. Anyways, I hope it helps for those who were stuck.
