Playlists not number friendly

I have been trying to create Top 100 playlists but the auto-populate is not number friendly. I create a custom field called Top 100 and a number in value but not able to use it to sort. Wonder if  i am missing something or it is not able to do it. I would like to go to pwnRank website get the top 100 for every platform and create playlists for them. Is this a feature that could be added? Any help for this would be appreciated.
