Video keeps playing in background until exit

Hi there. I recently setup BigBox and its working really well, however theres a strange problem where if a video is currently playing and I exit a search for some reason the video continues to play forever in the background until I close BigBox, this only seems to happen on VLC Video mode, I tried using Windows Media Player and it doesn't have the problem however the videos are placed incorrectly.

Any help would be appreciated.
