SSF without Daemon Tools?

Hey all, I noticed that the current versions of SSF (I'm currently using Preview Ver R7 from EmuCR) finally allow you to read image files directly.  I'd really love to use this as my default Saturn emulator since it's still better than any of the cores RA can run, but there's a problem.  The way it reads the image files is really weird.  You have to go to the options menu and set the path of the disc image from there.  It also doesn't seem to use any of the standard command line syntax to mount an image.  I tried googling this and translated all of the readme files that come with the emulator but there doesn't seem to be any documentation on how to get SSF to play nice with command line.  Specifically, putting ANYTHING after "ssf.exe" seems to make it not want to start properly.  Can anyone offer any advice on how to get it to work with LaunchBox?
