Controller Setups?

Again not a launchbox issue but I know many of you have gone threw this.

I have the following:

4 Arcade Joysticks each with 10 button configs

2 Trackballs

2 Spinners

2 ultramark Guns with lightbar

Windows 10

 

Please someone break this down and make this simple to program in Retro-arch and Mame to configure to work correctly. Sure I get guns configured in ultramark software, yes I get both trackballs moving in windows. Both spinners are on a single board and show as BETTER_USB_HS and I can't seem to recognize anywhere. Just seems like a minefield clusterF. I keep chipping away to set this up and keep re-starting. I have a billion systems and games and this seems very hanky janky. 

 

Please help point me to a guide to this okay you got it all built now how to configure this simply & intelligently.
