Mouse disabled?

Hi,  I have my arcade pc set to launch BigBox on startup, but whenever I exit BigBox my mouse seems to be disabled.  I have to unplug my usb mouse and plug it back in to get it to show up.  If I don't have BigBox launch on startup, the mouse works fine.  I am sure it is a setting somewhere, I just needs some advice.  Thanks!
