Missing platform, but ROMs have imported

Hi, my first post as I’m new to LaunchBox and just testing it. So I’ve imported various platforms all without issue, until I got to the nes, I ran the import and it seemed to be successful, but the NES is not showing in the platforms, I checked the games folder and the ROMs were moved into the LaunchBox file structure and are all present, but no where within LaunchBox can I see any nes games despite trying various filters. So am I missing something obvious here ? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Thats a nice attitude to have, so glad to have you here.

Did you import it to a "All" platform by mistake?

No, I imported it to Nintendo entertainment system, I’ve since checked it and deleted all roms, then did it again and got the same results. Launch box does however, create the new folder with the correct name when it moves the roms. All other platforms have imported correctly and the new platform shows up. Sorry if I seemed abrupt but I expected a reply within a few days, and given there is a paid option, I honestly expected the forum to be more forthcoming with answers in a timely fashion. (I work for a software house and trust me, if we didn’t reply for 3 days, there would be uproar and a lot of cancelled subscriptions or requests for perpetual license cancellation.

Nobody here apart from our two actual devs get paid for what we do, and we all have our own lives/family/jobs to be getting on with, we do this in our free time for the love of it.

As to your actual issue, did you download any media when you imported? It could be that you have one of the "hide games missing ....... media" options checked in the view dropdown. Also it would be worth looking in your Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder and checking if the actual .xml file for that system is present and correct.

Thanks Neil, I’ll check the .xml file, as for the hide platforms option, I already checked that and it’s not activated.
