Emulator Default Command-Line Parameters Not Working

I'm trying to run retroarch with a custom cfg and tried to place it in the default command line.

But it doesn't seem to work. If I place it in the associated platform's extra command line parameter it works as expected. But I don't want to have to place it every platform or change the default one. My plan is to have a different config depending on what machine i'm running it on.
