Retroarch: controller not configured error

Hi folks,

I recently upgraded to the recent LB version on my Win10 PC. However, retroarch (v 1.7.7) does not recognize my competition pro USB joystick. I receive the error message SPEEDLINK competition pro (1035/25907) not configured. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you.
