Trouble getting keyboard to work in Fuse/Retroarch

I have setup the latest release of Launchbox and loaded games in. When I try to play ZX Spectrum games the keyboard won't work. I turn on game focus but then none of the keys work. Most Spectrum games are keyboard so I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

Retroarch Fuse core has an on-screen keyboard. Press select on your controller or set a button/key in controls.
